Biography
After playing in separate high school bands, the brothers played together and eventually moved to Nashville where they met drummer Timothy “Yogi” Watts. Will's talent for songwriting was influenced at first by then-current styles in Emo and Indie rock. He now sings about love, politics, and faith.
History
The Lonely Hearts started as a three-piece act in East Texas under the name Somerset where they played local venues and released a three track EP that was independently released and distributed. After moving to Nashville they evolved into Holland, trading out drummers and lead guitarist. They released Photographs & Tidalwaves on February 11, 2003 through Tooth & Nail . After a legal dispute, the band decided on a new name: Lonely Hearts. They released Paper Tapes through Tooth & Nail on March 7, 2006, but are currently independent. Recently[when? — see ] they have recorded demos for a new album at Rebel Waltz Recording Co. in Franklin, Tennessee.
