The List is a Scottish fortnightly entertainment and events guide for Edinburgh and Glasgow. It was founded in 1985, and has its registered office off the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. Its reviews and listings run the gamut from film, music, shopping, books, comedy, clubs, art, sports, gay to food and drink. During the Edinburgh Festival it becomes a weekly publication. The List also publishes The Eating and Drinking Guide, an annual spin-off booklet sold separately.
