"The Garden" is a song by the hard rock group Guns N' Roses. It appears on the album Use Your Illusion I as track 11, and the compilation album Use Your Illusion as track 5. The song was written before the band released Appetite for Destruction, but was not included on that album. It was written by Axl Rose, Del James and West Arkeen. Heavy metal pioneer Alice Cooper is featured in the song, along with the former lead singer of Blind Melon, Shannon Hoon. The music video for the song depicts various band members in sections of New York City, specifically Times Square and Washington Square Park, and was released to promote the Use Your Illusion Tour. Due to various scenes taking place in strip clubs, the video was not shown very much on MTV.
