The Fifth Element, also known as Fifth Element Records or 5th Element, is a hip hop record store in Uptown, Minneapolis which opened in 1999 and is owned and operated by Rhymesayers Entertainment. The store specializes in vinyl records and hard-to-find underground rap. Graffiti and turntables are also prominently displayed, evidence of the Hip hop culture. Fifth Element often holds in store performances and album release parties, most are often affiliated with Rhymesayers Entertainment.
