The Fallen written by Thomas E. Sniegoski. There are four volumes of this fantasy series of novels. An ABC Family six-episode miniseries called Fallen is loosely based on the novels.

Background

Aaron Corbett learns on his 18th birthday that he is a Nephilim, the child of a Human and Angel pairing, and that he is being pursued by a group of angels called "The Powers". The Powers believe that all Nephilim are an abomination and are an affront to God. However there is a prophecy that a Nephil will be born that will redeem all the Fallen.
