Plot summary

“The Breaker” is based around the well known Crime Fiction sub-genre, the “whodunit”, but also has elements of the “police procedural”. Minette Walters uses a strength driven plot and a twist at every turn to engross the reader to discover “who done it”? She makes the reader even more evolved with the use of police reports after every interview or post-mortem etc which is extremely common in the “police procedural” sub-genre.
