"The Beginning" is a skateboarding film by Birdhouse Skateboards which features the professionals and amateurs of Birdhouse. The film was released on October 12, 2007. The film starts out with Jean Postec, Tony Hawk, and Shaun White on a vert ramp in the middle of a desert displaying their vert skills. After that it shows the street skaters of Birdhouse taking bails that they land leter on in the film. Shaun White does not have his own video part in the video. Special features include - The Making of The Beginning, Jeremy Klein in Japan, friends montage, flow montage, outtakes, sponsor commercials, Todd Falcon skate film, and team bio's.

This is the order of appearance by skaters in the film.
