Ten North Frederick is a 1955 novel by John O'Hara about the life of an ambitious American named Joe Chapin, who desires to become President of the United States. The novel tells Joe's story along with the stories of his patrician wife, two rebellious children, and mistress. It won the 1956 National Book Award, and was made into a 1958 movie starring Gary Cooper as Joe Chapin.
