Tempest is the classic rock band founded in 2005 by Paul James, formerly of The New Animals. The band's line-up consists of several experienced musicians, such as Graham Oliver, who previously had been a founding member of Saxon. The band was signed almost immediately by the Indie record label Silverwood and released its debut album Goodbye to Yesterday in November of 2006. As of 2007, the band's lineup was: Paul James (vocals, guitar), Graham Oliver (lead guitar), Mark Devanche (keyboards, backing vocals), Simon Hodges (bass guitar), and Paul "Rocky" Oliver (drums)
