Theodore William Lange (born January 5, 1948 in Oakland, California) is an African American actor best known for his role as the bartender, Isaac Washington, in the TV series The Love Boat. Lange also played Junior on the series That's My Mama. His first screen appearance was in the documentary film Wattstax. In the late '80s a pilot for a revival series called That's My Mama Now! with Ted Lange as the star was produced, but lack of enough stations signing up ensured the death of the revival. Currently, he appears in Bud Light commercials where, at the end of the ad, he appears and says "This calls for a Bud Light!", as well as writing a love advice column with Jenna Jameson for FHM. He has also guest starred in TV shows such as Scrubs, Drake & Josh and Boy Meets World. King of Queens. Lange appeared on the VH1 reality show Celebrity Fit Club season 4, which began on August 6, 2006. He has done extensive theatre work, most recently as playwright and director of George Washington's Boy, an historical drama about the relationship between the first president and his favorite slave.
