Ted Bell is a New York Times bestselling author of books such as Hawke and Assassin. He is best known for his series of thriller novels featuring the character Alex Hawke. Before becoming a novelist he was Vice-Chairman of the Board and World-Wide Creative Director for the Young & Rubicam advertising agency. Bell is currently finishing work on his most recent book, "Tsar", as announced on his own site's message board on September 17, 2007. This book is at least partially based in Russia, and is part of the Alex Hawke series.
