Tarnovo Ice Piedmont (Lednik Tarnovo \'led-nik 't&r-no-vo\) on Rozhen Peninsula, Livingston Island, Antarctica is located E of Botev Point. It is bounded to the N by Shumen Peak, to the NW and W by Gabrovo Knoll and Veleka Ridge, and to the E by Needle Peak and flows southeastwards into Bransfield Strait. Tarnovo (Veliko Tarnovo) is a city in central northern Bulgaria and the capital of the medieval Second Bulgarian Kingdom.

Location

The midpoint is located at 62°44′50″S, 60°16′13″W (UK Directorate of Overseas Surveys mapping in 1968, Bulgarian mapping in 2005).
