Stella Reid (born 3 October, 1964 in Burnley, Lancashire, England) is a British nanny.

Biography

Stella moved to the United States in 1989. She is married and has a 15 year old stepson, named Justin.[1] In 2006, Stella was spoofed on an episode of South Park entitled "Tsst." Stella and her "Nanny 911" co-nannies were also spoofed in an edition of "Mad Magazine" . Stella Reid, co-star of the overnight hit Fox TV reality show "Nanny 911", shares her child-rearing expertise with desperate parents. She is a real-life “English Nanny”, having been raised in Burnley, Northern England where she received her accreditation in nanny/childcare. Co-author of "Nanny 911" : Expert Advice for All Your Parenting emergencies” published by Harper Collins. She also travels the country delivering parenting workshops. Her motto is: “Never Fear Nanny’s Here"

Projects

Stella currently co-stars on the FOX reality television show Nanny 911. Since the show she has opened "The Nanny School" of Los Angeles, with two other British nannies. Their main focus is to train those who are interested in becoming a career nanny. They also offer classes for children, as well as support groups for parents and nannies. Stella continues to help families on a one on one basis by offering private consults. She is willing travel to your home if need be! Stella also contributes to Los Angeles Family magazine every month offering her sage advise to weary parents.
