St. George Place is a neighborhood out of Houston, Texas. St. George Place is located outside of the 610 Loop and inside Beltway 8 in the Uptown Houston area. St. George Place was formed out of portions of an older subdivision, Lamar Terrace, in the early 1990s. St. George Place is home to many "starter" families who may move to other subdivisions as the families mature. St. George Place is in Texas's 7th congressional district [1].

St. George Place is served by the Houston Independent School District. St. George Place is zoned to St. George Place Elementary School and Grady Middle School. As of 2006, St. George Place hasn't opened yet, so St. George Place residents are to enroll their elementary school-aged children in Briargrove Elementary School for the 2006-2007 school year; the school is in the current St. George Place Campus. Once the new Briargrove campus is complete, Briargrove will move into a new campus and separate from St. George Place. St. George Place students may choose between Lee High School, Lamar High School, and Westside High School. Most St. George Place pupils who remain in the public school system go to Lamar High School.
