St. Clement's School (SCS) is an Anglican independent all-girls school in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The school was founded in 1901 and was originally co-ed. Students at SCS (often referred to as Clementines) are required to wear uniforms consisting of navy blue tunics, white blouses, ties and on special occasions (known as "Number One Dress Days"), bright red blazers. The school recently completed a new addition to the building, doubling the space for the students. The school is a member of the Round Square affiliation of schools. Notable alumni at St. Clement's school include Adrienne Arsenault, correspondent for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and Carlyle Jansen, sexpert and founder of Toronto's feminist sex shop, Good For Her.

House system

St. Clement's School is split into four houses: York (Yellow, Lion mascot), Stuart (Green, Frog mascot), Windsor (Purple, Walrus mascot) and Tudor (Red, Elephant mascot). Each student is assigned to a house upon arrival at St. Clements. Siblings and daughters of St. Clement's alumnae are assigned to the same house. Students accumulate house points for participation in academic and extracurricular activities. At the end of the year, the house with the most points win the house cup.

Student leaders

St. Clement's is led by an elected Head Girl, Sports Captain, House Captain, Junior and Senior Prefects, House Heads, and Student Council. In addition, all members of the graduating class usually hold a leadership position organizing a club or aspect of student life. The head girl, sports captain and house captain act as an internal and external liaison for the St. Clement's student body, CIS sports, and House System. The prefects are each assigned a class from grade 1-9, and act as class prefects, visiting and befriending the girls. They perform humorous skits at assembly and are ambassadors for school spirit.
