Spartak Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Moscow, Russia, that is currently under construction, as of 2006. Once completed in 2009, it will be used mostly for football matches and will host the homes matches of FC Spartak Moscow. The stadium was originally designed to have a capacity of 35,000 people but later it was decided to be a 42,000-seater. The main sponsor of the construction is LUKoil company.
