Jan Jacobus ("Sonny") Silooy (born 31 August, 1963 in Rotterdam, Zuid-Holland) is a Dutch football (soccer) player (1981-2002), now retired from professional football. He played as a right or central defender and is one of the legends of Ajax Amsterdam, where he got his debut May 3rd 1981. Silooy also played for Matra Racing, Arminia Bielefeld, and De Graafschap. He obtained 25 caps for the Netherlands national football team.
