Slave is a fictional character from the British science fiction television series Blake's 7, played by Peter Tuddenham. Slave was the master computer on the resistance group's second vessel, the Scorpio. He was designed and built by Dorian and programmed with an obsequiously servile personality. He was constantly apologizing for his failings, real or perceived. He addressed Dorian and later Avon as 'Master' and everyone else as 'Sir' or 'Madam'. He was far less capable and far less competent than Zen, prone to panic in emergency situations. As a result, he was far less dynamic character. In the series finale, when the Scorpio crashed on Gauda Prime, Slave, like Zen before him, demonstrated some unseen characteristics in his last moments. He addressed Tarrant directly and expressed his hope that the human would survive before shutting down. He could presumably be rebuilt if desired.
