Biography

Silver first started music production when he was at the high school in partnership with two schoolmates, Enrico Campoli and Barbara Cavalieri (aka Miss Rossella). Silver in association with Miss Rossella entered the "Atelier dell'Economia" contest in 1991 and went third with a social and political theme song, "Sesto In Dissesto". Silver continued on with his friend, Michael Foster from Copenhagen and then Tom Stillman, who currently plays guitar in his own group, Labyrinth. In 2000, Silver started a collaboration with Ruben "The Hurricane" Bax from Delft, The Netherlands. A remix was the very first result of this association.

Influences

Electronic, dance and trance music are the main influences for Silver’s artwork. Groups like Delerium, The KLF, Technotronic and The Prodigy were used as an inspiration for some of his songs. For example, some samples and excerpts of Delerium’s hits were used in After All. Tiësto's version of Silence (#1 hit by Delerium performing Sarah McLachlan) was also used as inspiration for After All. Samples of Madonna’s hits like "Papa Don’t Preach" and "Hung Up" were used too.
