Trivia

  • Miki is part of the seiyū band quartet Weiss whose other members are Weiss Kreuz voice castmates Yuuki Hiro, Takehito Koyasu, and Tomokazu Seki. In addition, Miki is the only member of Weiss NOT to have any speaking role in the hit anime series Gundam Seed and Neon Genesis Evangelion. All Weiss members have had a role in at least one Gundam series, Miki's role is in the most recent Gundam 00 as Lockon Stratos.
  • In the Fate/stay night anime series, Miki reunites with good friend Tomokazu Seki, with Seki voicing Gilgamesh and Miki voicing Assassin. Ironically, Gilgamesh's introduction in episode 19 is just moments after Assassin's death.
  • His friendship with Tomokazu Seki led to him voicing the same character that Tomokazu once voiced before in a different anime: Touya (in Tsubasa Chronicle and Cardcaptor Sakura). Miki has also worked together with Tomokazu on the Monkey Typhoon anime series.
  • In Full Metal Panic!, Miki voiced Kurz Weber, good friend of Sousuke Sagara, who was voiced by Seki. Ironically, this is not the only time that Seki plays the brooding, dark-haired main charater to Miki's blond-haired blue-eyed playboy best friend charater. The Vision of Escaflowne also features this dynamic with Seki playing Van Fanel and Miki playing Allen Schezar.
  • In the racing anime Initial D he voices the main character Takumi Fujiwara. In another racing anime, Wangan Midnight he voices the main character's rival, Tatsuya Shima.
  • In the Fate/stay night anime series, Miki voices the Servant Assassin, whose real name is Sasaki Kojiro. Interestingly, Miki also provides the voice casting for Kojiro in the Pokémon anime series. Both characters have long blue hair.
  • Miki has twice co-worked with fellow seiyuu Atsuko Tanaka, whereas his character's position was directly under Tanaka's: In the Super Robot Wars series, Tanaka's character Viletta Vadim is the superior of Miki's Ryusei Date. In Fate/stay night, Tanaka's character Caster is the Master/Summoner of Miki's Assassin.
  • Two of the characters he voiced, Kurz Weber and Lockon Stratos, of Full Metal Panic and Gundam 00 uses sniper equipment for their mecha's primary weapon. Kurz, however, is also an excellent marksman himself.
  • Miki is a close friend of seiyu Keiji Fujiwara and nicknames him "Kei".
  • Father of one boy
  • Height is 180cm and weight is 58kg
