Sergio "Sapo" Livingstone Pohlhammer (born March 26, 1920 in Santiago, Chile) is a former Chilean goalkeeper, considered the first great footballer in the country's history. He was called El Sapo (Spanish "Toad") because of his athleticism. For his country Livingstone played 52 matches between 1941 and 1954 (34 of then in Copa America). After his successful football career Livingstone became a well-known sports journalist and television figure for TVN, and was particularly famous for his colourful commentaries during important matches.
