The Sega Lindbergh is an arcade system board developed by Sega. While Sega had originally planned to base the Lindbergh around Microsoft's Xbox 360 hardware, a PC-based design was eventually opted for instead. Due to the similarity to PC architecture, there has been talk about emulating this system even before its release, although Sega has referred to extensive anti-piracy techniques to be employed in this architecture. According to Sega AM2 president Hiroshi Kataoka, use of an NVIDIA GPU means that it is generally easier to port Lindbergh based games, such as Virtua Fighter 5, to Sony's PlayStation 3 than to the Xbox 360[1].

Notes
The original arcade Power Smash: Sega Professional Tennis series was developed by Sega AM3 on Sega's Naomi Arcade Hardware and was released in 1999 (Japan). Also the Power Smash series was released in the US and Europe under the title: Virtua Tennis. March 2006, Japanese arcade operators reported that Sega has stopped development of the Lindbergh arcade game Psy-Phi. The game will no longer ship in April 2006 and a new date has not been set. It is uncertain whether the game has been canceled. For what it's worth, the Psy-Phi official homepage is no longer active. The House of the Dead 4 Special is a two-player attraction based off The House of the Dead 4. Players enter an enclosed room, sit down, buckle up, and experience zombie blasting like never before. The game makes use of two 100 inch screens, one in front and one in back, and a 5 speaker sound system, giving the impression that zombies are attacking from all sides. The seat shakes as zombies attack, and players are blasted with air for every bullet that penetrates their defenses. Sega's modified the game's light gun to make it more suitable for an attraction. Guns are now fully automatic and include a hand grenade button. This update to the Lindbergh debut gun shooter will follow a new side story in the House of the Dead plotline, teaming Kate Green up with "G". In August 3, 2006 Sega released in Japan a updated version from the Lindbergh arcade game Virtua Fighter 5. This version called Virtua Fighter 5: REVISION 1 have improved controls and minor fixes.
