Scott Morse, sometimes known as C. Scott Morse, is an animator, filmmaker, and comic book artist/writer. Morse created Soulwind, a story serialised in a sequence of graphic novels, and nominated for both the Eisner and Ignatz awards. His comic book work includes Southpaw, Soulwind, Volcanic Revolver, Magic Pickle, Spaghetti Western, Visitations, Ancient Joe, Barefoot Serpent and a three-comic story arc for Catwoman. He has also created graphic novels for both Oni Press (Spaghetti Western, Visitations, Volcanic Revolver) and Dark Horse (Ancient Joe) as well as Noble Boy through AdHouse Books, Little Book Of Horror: Frankenstein through IDW Publishing, Smack Dab through Crazyfish/Mj-12, Barefoot Serpent through Top Shelf Productions, and adapted the R.L. Stine Goosebumps story The Abominable Snowman of Pasedena for Scholastic Press's graphic novel imprint, Graphix. He was trained at the California Institute of the Arts (commonly known as CalArts), where he majored in Character Animation. In his sophomore year he was hired out to work at Chuck Jones' Film Productions. In the field of animation, he has worked as a character designer, storyboard artist, and art director for companies such as Disney, Universal, and Cartoon Network. Most recently, he has taken a job at Pixar working on an undisclosed project.
