Scott Chandler (born July 23, 1985) is an American football Tight End for the San Diego Chargers.

College career
Chandler played college football for the Iowa Hawkeyes. Scott attended Carroll High School, where he was recruited by the Hawkeyes as a wide receiver. Saw no action at receiver as a true freshman, recording no catches, then was moved to tight end during the fall of his sophomore year. Was named 2nd team all-Big Ten at tight end as a senior.

Chandler is expected to give Rivers another pass receiving option in the redzone, where the Chargers have made a recent tradition of being one of the best in the NFL in terms of converting red zone opportunities into points.
