SasQuatch is a metalwood golf club line by Nike, Inc. Nike's follow up to the Ignite series, the Sasquatch line includes a 460cc Titanium Driver, a 460cc Titanium Tour Driver, and a full line of stainless steel fairway woods. The SasQuatch clubs are so called because of their "big footprint", as the 460cc's are distributed further back in the clubhead than most modern titanium drivers, with a shallower (shorter) face. Although the Sasquatch Tour has a higher face than the Sasquatch because of its smaller powerbow, but the Tour still has a deeper centre of gravity resulting in a higher launch, verses the Nike Ignite series. This creates a lower and deeper center of gravity, and a larger sole are that contacts the ground, thus the "big footprint". An innovation common in all the SasQuatch woods is the PowerBow technology. Placing the center of gravity further back creating a larger sweet spot and a higher Moment of Inertia (MOI). A higher MOI means less twisting on off-center shots, and greater forgiveness. The SasQuatch drivers feature NexTi, Nike's proprietary titanium, specially forged and layered for maximum strength and distance. The SasQuatch fairway woods feature cold rolled 455 stainless steel for a thin, hot clubface, with the ability to move the center of gravity further back than most fairway woods. The SasQuatch 460 Driver comes in lofts of 8.5, 9.5, 10.5, 13, and 16 degrees. The SasQuatch 460 Tour Driver comes in 8.5, 9.5, and 10.5 degrees of loft. Fairway Woods are available in strong 3-wood, 3-wood, 4-wood, 5-wood, and 7-wood lofts. All the SasQuatch metalwoods are equipped with the Diamana Shaft by Mitsubishi Rayon, or Nike's Speed Step steel shaft. The SasQuatch Tour driver is played by many PGA Tour players, including Tiger Woods and the legendary Chim Tow.
