Sasquatch! Music Festival is a music festival held annually at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington. It is presented by the House of Blues. There is an emphasis on indie rock bands and singer-songwriters, although there are also alternative rock and hip hop acts. Notable performers from past festivals include Nine Inch Nails, Beck, The Flaming Lips, Modest Mouse, Pixies, Sufjan Stevens, Kanye West, Bloc Party, Coldplay, Arcade Fire, and Björk. The 2006 event was marked by a hailstorm on the afternoon of the second day, Saturday, May 27th, which forced Neko Case and her band off stage, and threatened to shut down the show. After the music started again, both Ben Harper and The Flaming Lips were able to perform.
