Sarah Louise Whatmore (born 1981 and raised in Walkden,[1], [2], in the City of Salford, England) is a singer best known from the British TV series Pop Idol. Having previously worked with Billboard #1 dance producer Chris Brophy she became a contestant on Pop Idol. She made it to the final 50 contestants, and was spotted by 19 Entertainment's Simon Fuller who offered her a management deal. He later signed her to a record deal with RCA Records. Her first single "When I Lost You" reached no.6 in the UK Singles Chart, and her follow-up "Automatic" charted at no.11. As a songwriter she worked with fellow Pop Idol contestant Zoe Birkett on her debut single "Treat Me Like a Lady". She was most recently seen on the Hits Channel on the programme 'Top 50 Reality TV Losers'.
