San Quinn is a rapper from the Uptown Fillmore District of San Francisco, California. He began in the early 1990s alongside JT the Bigga Figga. He recorded for JT's Get Low Recordz label for several years until he broke away at the end of the decade. He is the cousin of Ya Boy and Messy Marv. He is owner and co-ceo of Done Deal Entertainment.

Biography

San Quinn, born Quincy Brooks, was born October 24, 1977 in Oakland, California. He later moved to San Francisco at a very young age and settled down in the area. He is signed to, and owns Done Deal Entertainment, LLC. Quinn recorded his first album, Don't Cross Me, in 1991. He contributed to JT the Bigga Figga's "Don't Stop Til We Major", Playaz N' the Game, "Dwellin in the Labb", and Get Low Playaz' Straight Out of the Labb, after which he recorded a pair of of albums for Get Low Recordz, including Live N Direct. Quinn soon moved on from his beginnings as a rapper. He teamed up with cousin Messy Marv on his solo albums.
