The Slava (Russian: Слава (Glory)) was a pre-dreadnought battleship of the Imperial Russian Navy, the last of the five Borodino-class battleships. Commissioned too late to participate in the key naval Battle of Tsushima of the Russo-Japanese War, she survived while three of her sister ships were sunk during the battle and one surrendered to the Imperial Japanese Navy. Slava served in the Baltic during World War I and played pivotal role in repulsing attack of German High Seas Fleet against Russian Baltic Fleet in the Battle of the Gulf of Riga in August 1915. The battleship was eventually scuttled in the Moon Sound straight between the isle of Muhu (Moon) and the mainland after sustaining heavy damage from German battleship Konig during the Battle of Moon Sound.
