Rothschild Boulevard is a long boulevard in central Tel Aviv, carrying traffic both north and south, which was built in 1910. It runs from Neve Tzedek in its south-western end to Habima Theater in its northern end. The boulevard is named after the baron Edmond James de Rothschild, and is the first ever built boulevard in the city. A variety of cafés, restaurants, kiosks, and different styles of architecture along the street, makes it one of the most popular and famous streets in Tel Aviv and in Israel. Israel's Declaration of Independence was signed at the Independence Hall, which is situated on the boulevard.
