Rorion Gracie is a martial artist and a prominent member of the Gracie family. He is the oldest son of Hélio Gracie,[1] and is one of the few people in the world to hold a 9th degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu,[2] receiving that promotion on October 27, 2003 from his father Helio Gracie. Rorion was one of the founders of the Ultimate Fighting Championship[3] He is founder and owner of the Gracie Academy in Torrance, California. Rorion became infamous in the martial arts world for suing his cousin over use of the name "Gracie Jiu-Jitsu".

Personal Life

Rorion has nine children. His current wife is Silvia.[4]
