Rodd Redwing (Roderic/Rodric Redwing), (August 24, 1904, New York, NY - May 30, 1971, Los Angeles, CA), was a Native American actor, noted for being the world’s greatest quick-draw artist with six-guns. He holds the record with two-tenths of a second, reaching for his six-gun, pulling it out of the holster, and firing.

Biography
A full-blooded Chickasaw Indian, Redwing, was one of the top gun, knife, tomahawk, and whip instructors in Hollywood. After coming to films for Cecil B. DeMille in 1931's The Squaw Man, he became gun handling coach to Alan Ladd, Ronald Reagan, Burt Lancaster, Glenn Ford, Richard Widmark, Anthony Quinn, Charlton Heston, Dean Martin, Fred MacMurray and scores more. Between 1951 and 1967, he appeared in upwards of Thirteen television programs.

Death
Rodd passed away at age of 66, after appearing in The Red Sun. He suffered a heart attack aboard the flight from Spain and died 35 minutes later, just before the plane landed at LAX.
