French band Rockets began in 1972 as Crystal, changing their name to Rocket Men, Rocketters and finally Rockets in 1975. They Portrayed themselves as silver aliens from outer-space and their elaborate live show featured lasers, props, colorful lights and pyrotechnics. Their sound was Space rock with a driving Disco beat and Glam rock tinged guitar, which became more Synth rock and then Synthpop as their career progressed.
