Councillor Robert (Bob) Wharton is a British Liberal Democrat politician. He represents Sudbury ward on Brent Council, and sits on the Council's Executive as Lead Member for Children and Families. He has expressed support for local MP Sarah Teather in her campaign to save Brent's Family Courts. [1] Wharton also serves on the Staff Appeals Sub-Committee; Teachers' Joint Consultative Committee; General Purposes Committee; Schools Disciplinary Sub-Committee; Schools Admissions Forum and the School Organisation Committee.
