Robert Francis Withers Allston (April 21, 1801April 7, 1864) was a Governor of South Carolina. He was born in All Saints Parish, South Carolina in 1801. He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1821. He was elected to the South Carolina House of Representatives in 1826, serving in that body through 1832. In 1834, he was elected to the South Carolina Senate, serving in that body through 1856. From 1856-1858 he served as Governor of South Carolina.
