Miguel Ángel López Díaz (born January 8 1958), better known by his ring name Rey Mysterio, Sr., is a famous Mexican professional wrestler. His true and correct "luchador" name is Rey Misterio, which directly translates to "King Mystery" in English. Diaz is the father of Mexican wrestler El Hijo de Rey Misterio ("The Son of King Mystery"), and uncle of former World Championship Wrestling and current World Wrestling Entertainment wrestler Rey Mysterio, Jr. On March 25 1988, Rey Misterio Sr. lost his mask to Fishman. He has a niece named Jordan Denson; who currently resides in Albany, Georgia
