René of Guise,Marquis d'Elbeuf (August 14, 1536, Joinville – d. December 14, 1566) was the youngest son of Claude, Duke of Guise and Antoinette de Bourbon. He married Louise de Rieux (1531 – c. 1570) on February 3, 1555. They had two children:

He served as French ambassador to Scotland, and accompanied his sister Mary of Guise on her entrance to that country in 1561. He was also a patron of the arts, particularly of composer Pierre Clereau of Lorraine.
