Real World Records is a record label formed by Peter Gabriel in the late 1980s that focuses primarily on world music. It has its own studios in Wiltshire, Real World Studios. It has a large catalog of artists including Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Afro Celt Sound System, Papa Wemba, Sheila Chandra and Spaccanapoli. They were among the pioneers of commercial CDs having tracks with video. In the USA, Real World Records is exclusively licensed and distributed by Narada, a subsidiary of EMI and part of the Blue Note Label Group.[1]
