Rawhide is the development tree for the Fedora Linux distribution. It is continuously changed, with software being added, removed, and updated. In many cases, this software is made of CVS or Subversion snapshots. Rawhide is not meant to be used on a production system. One should only use it as a testbed for development and fixing. However, many developers and hackers from the Fedora Project do use it as their primary operating system.
