The Ranger Suite is a suite of software applications owned and developed by Sentinel Products Ltd for managing and controlling Microsoft Windows networks. Applications in the suite include: Ranger for Networks and Ranger Primary. Ranger is designed to allow administrators of computer networks with clients running on the Microsoft Windows family of operating systems to easily administer their network. It also offers features to prevent unauthorised code (such as viruses) being run on the client operating system, and to prevent the changing of system settings. This is particularly useful on the Windows 9x platform where there are few built-in privileges and security settings.
