Ramchandra Gandhi was an Indian philosopher student of H. P. Grice and grandson of Mahatma Gandhi. He was the founder of the philosophy department of University of Hyderabad having also taught at Santiniketan, Panjab University, and finally Bangalore University until dying in the India International Centre on 13 June 2007.[1] His daughter is the noted postcolonial academic, Leela Gandhi.
