Quincy is a village located in Logan County, Ohio, United States. The population was 734 at the 2000 census.

Geography
Quincy is located at (40.297577, -83.970111)GR1. According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.1 square miles (2.9 km²), all of it land. Except for a small section in the village's northeast corner, Quincy's boundaries form a square.
Demographics
As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 734 people, 256 households, and 199 families residing in the village. The population density was 648.2 people per square mile (250.8/km²). There were 273 housing units at an average density of 241.1/sq mi (93.3/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 98.23% White, 0.14% African American, 0.14% Native American, 0.14% Asian, 0.14% Pacific Islander, and 1.23% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.68% of the population. There were 256 households out of which 44.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 60.2% were married couples living together, 11.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 21.9% were non-families. 18.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.87 and the average family size was 3.28. In the village the population was spread out with 33.5% under the age of 18, 8.3% from 18 to 24, 28.2% from 25 to 44, 20.4% from 45 to 64, and 9.5% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 31 years. For every 100 females there were 101.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 98.4 males. The median income for a household in the village was $31,250, and the median income for a family was $36,375. Males had a median income of $31,607 versus $23,750 for females. The per capita income for the village was $14,808. About 11.0% of families and 14.9% of the population were below the poverty line, including 16.8% of those under age 18 and 5.1% of those age 65 or over.
Government
In the elections of November 2007, Daniel Robinson was elected mayor without opposition, and Judy Davis and John Hickman were elected to the village council.[1]
Transportation
State Route 235 passes through Quincy from north to south. Located just south of the village limits is the eastern end of State Route 706, which begins at an intersection with State Route 235.
