Prozzäk is a pop music side project by two members of the Canadian band The Philosopher Kings, James McCollum and Jason Levine, conceived as a lighthearted mockery of their own romantic troubles. They created the characters of Simon, who sang in a mock-British accent about his failed romances, and Milo, who was his best friend and mentor in his search for true love; they starred together in a number of popular animated music videos. Their greatest success came after their hit song, "Sucks To Be You". Their first two albums did respectively well in Canada, but Cruel, Cruel World was virtually ignored. The band was no longer signed to a major record label, therefore, the album received little, if any, promotion. Simon and Milo's image changed for Cruel, Cruel World, the duo becoming more melancholy. They have released four CDs: Hot Show (1998), Saturday People (2000), Ready Ready Set Go (2002), and Cruel Cruel World (2005). Ready Ready Set Go was a mix of the first two with one new song "Get A Clue" made for the Disney Channel movie of the same name, released under the name Simon & Milo.

Storyline

Each song or music video that Prozzäk has created seems to follow a certain storyline. In the "Legend of Simon and Milo" clip, it is revealed that Simon and Milo lived "In a distant time, in a distant place." Countries waged "wars over land and territory," and Simon and Milo were of opposing countries (their official background states them as being from the Isle of Man and Austria, respectively). They engaged in a duel at one point, until a great voice from the sky said to them, "Simon and Milo. You have been chosen. Chosen to live in a time that is not your own. Only true love holds the key to your destiny." Simon and Milo were taken to the "present," where Simon continuously searches for true love. But in almost every video, whomever he was in love with breaks up with him. If the Cruel Cruel World era still follows this storyline, Simon and Milo must have moved out of their "abandoned castle."
