Princes Ltd. is a UK based food manufacturer originally specialising in canned foods, but now produce a range of food and drink products. Established in 1880, in Liverpool by Simpson & Roberts, they began trading canned meats and vegetables. By 1946, they moved into Southport, and began food manufacturing. In 1960, they set up a European base in the Netherlands. In 1976, Princes was acquired by Buitoni(becoming Princes Buitoni), which in turn, was acquired by Nestlé in 1988, and finally in 1989, the Mitsubishi Corporation bought Princes from Nestlé.

Owned and operated brands

Princes Limited brands include[1] Napolina (50%)[2], Shippam's, Crisp 'n Dry, Cookeen, Mazola, Vier Diamanten, Aqua-Pura, Jucee, Princes Real, Flora, Olivio, Virgin Cola, Cape and Ocean Spray.
