Primitive, a song written and performed by singer Cyndi Lauper, appeared on her third album A Night to Remember (1989). Lyrically it describes the physical reaction the body has to sexual tension or physical attraction to someone: "My heart starts pounding like a fist/I see you there and I just can't resist/You make me tremble like a jellyfish". Dutch 3-track 12", includes Girls Just Wanna Have Fun & Insecurious. It was only released for a brief time in The Netherlands and is considered a rare collectors item that is often sold over the internet for over one-hundred dollars.
