Pooch Hall (born Marion H. Hall Jr. on February 8, 1976 in Brockton, Massachusetts) played football, track and field and boxed in Brockton. Hall won the Southern New England golden gloves in 1994. He starred in commercials and debuted in the film Lift (2001/I). Hall played Derrick, a shoplifter. He played older brother Ty'ree in the one season hit, Miracle's Boys, on the N network. Pooch was in many movies, including the hit film Black Cloud (2004). He also starred in the made for TV movie Christmas at Water's Edge which also starred Keshia Knight Pulliam. He had a minor role in the short-lived WB series Pepper Dennis. He now stars in the CW series The Game, where he plays Derwin Davis, a professional football player, opposite his live in fiancee Melanie Barnett (Tia Mowry). Derwin is a first-year rookie with a fictional team called the "San Diego Sabres". Pooch Hall attended Taunton High School.
