Pieces (also known as Mil gritos tiene la noche, Rompecabezas and One Thousand Cries Has the Night) is a 1982 slasher film. The film was directed by Spanish film director Juan Piquer Simón, written by Joe D'Amato and co-written by Dick Randall, produced by Stephen Minasian, and starred Christopher George (of TV's Rat Patrol), Lynda Day George (of TV's Mission: Impossible), Edmund Purdom, spaghetti-western star Frank Braña and Paul Smith.

Plot
A chainsaw-wielding killer is on the loose on a college campus in Boston. Tormented by childhood memories, he tries to make his own jigsaw puzzle made from real human body parts. Police Lieutenant Bracken (Christopher George) and Mary Rigs (Lynda Day George) try to uncover the identity of the maniac as the bodybags pile up.
Trivia
- None of the female stars of the film knew how to play tennis, even though they were supposed to be "professional" players. A tennis coach had to be hired just so that they could learn to lob the ball in a convincing enough manner to make the film believable.
- Director Juan Piquer Simón is now the co-director of the Mediterranean Film Festival in Valencia, Spain.
- A real pig carcass was used for the special effect of the chain saw cutting through the young woman's stomach.
- Lynda Day George was the wife of lead actor Christopher George.
