Picture This is the second album by American rock band Huey Lewis & the News, released in 1982 (see 1982 in music). The album brought the band their first top 10 hit, "Do You Believe In Love." It also remained on the Billboard Music Charts for 35 weeks and peaked at #13. "Giving It All Up For Love" is a cover of a Phil Lynott song. Lynott was best known as the singer and bassist for the hard rock group Thin Lizzy, and Huey Lewis actually played harmonica on Lynott's first two solo albums, as well as Thin Lizzy's Live and Dangerous album. "Buzz Buzz Buzz" is a cover of a song from the 1950s by the Hollywood Flames.

Background

Had they just tried to capture some kind of live sound with their first album - doing only two or three session takes of every song, they changed production of their second album Picture This totally. This time they produced the album themselves along with ex Clover producer Mutt Lange, and manager Bob Brown, they had took the time to do it. They also accepted outside tunes because they knew they had to have a hit record to make it. One of these tunes was "Do You Believe In Love" written by Robert John Lange, ex Clover producer. Although "Do You Believe In Love" was what Huey later would call 'a deal with the devil' (because it was pure pop), it turned out to be their first hit single reaching the top ten of the Billboard single charts. The follow-up single "Hope You Love Me Like You Say You Do" managed to reach the top forty.
