Peter North (born Alden Brown on May 11, 1957 in Halifax, Nova Scotia[4][5]) is a Canadian-born American pornographic actor, director and producer of the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s[6]. He is one of the most famous male performers in pornography[7][8]. Like many pornographic stage names, North's name is a pun: "Peter" is a common slang term for a penis [9][10][11][12], so "Peter North" most likely refers to an erection [13]. The name "North" may also refer to his Canadian or northern roots [14]. North is originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, and moved to California in 1982[15][16]. Thousands of dollars in debt, North entered the porn business at age 24 to make money.[17]

Biography and career
North is most noted for his ability to produce very large amounts of semen[18] and for his powerful cum shots.[19] He has averaged 8-10 ejaculations per climax since the start of his career in the porn industry three decades ago[20]. Female co-stars like Jenna Jameson confirm his volume of ejaculation to be real, with no movie trickery involved.[21] Peter North has stated that his ejaculations have always been of a high volume and that he didn't know it was above the norm until he began his career in the porn industry [22]. At the climax of sex scenes, North's ejaculations could last twenty seconds and upwards of a half minute.[23] North is circumcised[24], and is known for having an exceptionally large penis both in length and girth.[25][26] Many porn starlets have attested to these facts, particularly Savannah, Kaitlyn Ashley[27] and Jewel DeNyle. The size of North's penis, reported to be 8.5 inches in length by 6 inches (15 cm) in girth, is amongst the largest of all current male porn stars, as claimed by female co-stars Kelly O'Dell, Harmony, and others.[28] [29] North has appeared in well over 1,000 pornographic movies[30]. North became involved in the government's 1986 investigation of Traci Lords' underage involvement in the industry[31]. Lords was underage when she made most of her movies, including some sex scenes with North[32][33]. The government eventually dropped the investigation[34]. He has also directed more than 70 movies (notably, his North Pole and Anal Addicts series), and produced over 20 movies, including 15 in the North Pole series[35]. North dated fellow porn actress Jewel De'Nyle for over two years. They split when North saw his girlfriend brutally sodomized by his old rival Rocco Siffredi[36] In 1994, Peter North released a guide to meeting and dating beautiful women called Penetrating Insights. Its purpose is to help the reader meet more women[37]. The book also includes tips on everything from grooming to personal health. He is well known for being in excellent physical shape, even as he enters his fifties. He is a workout buff [38]. North is a member of both the X-Rated Critics Organization (XRCO) and the Adult Video News (AVN) Hall of Fame [39].
Gay porn start
Early on in his career under the pseudonym Matt Ramsey, Peter made more than a dozen gay porn movies in which he topped and even 'bottomed' for some of the largest male talent in the porn industry (most notoriously 'Humoungous' Rick Donovan in The Bigger the Better)[40]. Despite seeming to enjoy himself in these performances, North has at times denied having done so, then admitted it (but stated - although it is clearly untrue - that an anal stunt double was used[41]), and then began to simply refuse to discuss it. In recent years Peter has confirmed that he did perform in these films. He says he only performed in gay films for the money since he was thousands of dollars in debt at the time [42].
Sexual Orientation
Although North's sexual orientation is a matter of some dispute, several factors leave open the strong possibility that he is bisexual. First, even though North is one of many self-proclaimed straight porn stars who took part in gay sex at the beginning of their careers, he returned to both gay and bisexual pornography several times between the early 1980s and mid 1990s[43]. Furthermore, interviews with those who worked closely with North during his gay and bisexual shoots, such as gay porn director William Higgins[44], reveal the persistent opinion that he enjoyed the sex he had with men. In an interview with "Manshots" magazine in the early 90s, Higgins states that North continued to "stunt butt" after he left openly performing in gay films. The director went on to say that, even though Peter swore up and down that he was straight, "[he] truly loved to be fucked up the ass."[45] In an interview on LukeFord.com, an insider answered the issue of North's sexual history as follows: "Mike Horner told me that North did homosexual escort work for a couple of months, at the beginning of his career. Tommy Byron also confirmed the North story. I just love North's mock outrage when someone says something that is actually true about him."[46]
