Paul Mounsey is a musician from Scotland. He has lived in Brazil since the early 1980s and has found similarities between traditional Scottish folk music and Brazilian music. Paul Mounsey is an honours graduate from Trinity College, London where he studied with Richard Arnell. He lectured for a short while at Goldsmiths College before moving on as creative director of Play It Again, one of the biggest commercial music houses in Brazil. He recently composed a song called "Senses" especially for the VisitScotland television commercial. Senses is an edited version of the original song "North", from his album Nahoo Too. Mounsey also worked on two Runrig albums, The Stamping Ground (2001) and Proterra (2003). To date, Paul Mounsey has released 5 solo albums:
